Hethpool Mill, College Valley, Northumberland

The second bedroom at Hethpool Mill has two twin beds. There is plenty of storage space but you don’t have the overall floor area of the master bedroom.

The master bedroom has a substantial double bed with Egyptian cotton sheets. The main window looks west towards Great Hetha and you can awake in the morning and watch the sheep meander along the sheep tracks.

The landing at Hethpool Mill is large and uncluttered. Although it has little practical use it does add to the feeling of space and openness.

The door on the right opens on the bathroom. The door on the left opens into the main bedroom.

Hethpool Mill has an open plan and there is a large lounge with patio doors opening onto the west facing side of the house. From here there are views towards Hethpool and Great Hetha.

This picture was taken at Christmas. You can see the fire ( logs and coal supplied) and behind the room you have a large area around the stairwell where the put you bed can be found.There is also another table in the area behind the lounge.

We think that the sofa at the Mill is the most comfy part of any holiday cottage we have visited. This picture from the guest book

The Kitchen is one of the largest we have seen in any self catering cottage. With a tiled floor, range cooker and everything in the right place it is ideal.
