Hethpool Mill – walk to RingChesters
Walk through Hethpool and towards the valley exit. At the fork for Elsdonburn turn left and then climb the hill on your right. Look for the hill fort markers as here
The views are fantastic and you start to see panoramas which are amongst the least viewed in the valley

this is the plantation at the top of the ridge …now heavily felled

and finally the view into Scotland before you walk around the edge of Ringchesters and head down to Elsdonburn
